TWO BED WATER SOFTENING FOR HIGH TDS WATER
- Certain high tds waters can’t be softened to the desired limits (<5 PPM) by a single bed strong acid cation resin.
- To treat such high tds water, a two bed water softening system is required which gives us the desired hardness removal.
- This system essentially consists of two separate beds each of strong acid cation (SAC) resin in ‘H’ form and ‘NA’ form.
